If you’re across the latest celebrity skin secrets, you’ll know that Venus Legacy treatment is taking the aesthetic world by storm of late. Regarded as one of the best cosmetic procedures for contouring, reducing cellulite and improving the appearance of skin, this therapy has a stack of benefits.

Let’s run through exactly what Venus Legacy treatment is, the science behind this cosmetology innovation and why the pop culture elites can’t get enough of it. We’ll also discuss which area of the body can be treated and what to expect when you visit our Gold Coast beauty specialists for this therapy.

What is Venus Legacy Treatment?

Venus Legacy treatment is a game-changer in the world of recent cosmetology innovations. With radiofrequency (RF) making a splash in non-invasive skin lift treatments during the early 2000s, Venus Legacy has quickly become the leader in this field.

Venus Legacy is a cutting-edge aesthetic treatment that utilises a combination of radiofrequency (RF) and pulsed magnetic fields to address various cosmetic concerns.

Why Celebrities Are Making Venus Legacy Treatment a Part of Their Beauty Regimes

Many celebrities are well aware of the Venus Legacy benefits. The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills even featured an episode of their stars enjoying a pamper day featuring Venus Legacy treatments.

It’s no secret that Venus Legacy treatment is a celebrity must for youthful skin solutions. Here are the advantages our clients turn to this treatment for:

  • It’s a non-invasive therapy. There’s no need to have costly, expensive cosmetic or plastic procedures

  • The results are impressive. Don’t just take it from us. We have a long list of happy clients who have noticed massive results, including a more contoured figure, reduction of stubborn fat pockets and skin that appears to be tighter

  • The results are also long-lasting. If you’re seeking effective and sustainable improvements, Venus Legacy could be the treatment for you

Unveiling the Science at the Forefront of Venus Legacy Treatment

This RF therapy is combined with pulsed magnetic fields that penetrate the deep layers of the skin. These pulses are designed to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin fibres. Both of these aspects of the skin are pivotal to maintaining and enhancing elasticity and firmness.
The result of this collagen synthesis is an improved skin texture, a reduction of wrinkles and enhanced overall skin quality.

The applied magnetic fields also work to bring more blood circulation to the treatment area. Blood is full of oxygen and nutrients that the body uses to rejuvenate and aid in healing processes.

Venus Legacy treatment is also highly targeted to break down fat cells that are then expelled naturally through the lymphatic system.

What Areas of the Body Can Venus Legacy Be Treated By?

Venus Legacy treatment can be used just about anywhere on the body where you might find loose skin and unwanted fat cells. Here are the most common areas of the body we treat at our boutique beauty clinic:

Face and neck: RF is the perfect treatment to use on your face and neck if going under the knife is not an option. We’ve noticed practical results in the improved appearance of wrinkles and tighter, more elastic skin.

Thighs and buttocks: In women, we commonly see that the thigh and buttocks area is a concern. These areas have an increased likelihood of excess cellulite and uneven contouring. Venus Legacy treatment works wonders to address worries.

Abdomen: Following pregnancy or weight loss, the skin on the abdomen can become looser and fat cells can be displaced. This area is where we see some of the most drastic results from Venus Legacy treatment.

Arms: Similarly to the abdomen, the skin on the arms can become “flabby” after weight loss or during the natural aging process. Going under the knife and other aesthetic enhancements can lead to large scars in a highly visible area. On the contrary, RF is a scar-free solution.

What Is It Like to Receive Venus Legacy Treatment? Before, During & After

To best prepare, receive and maintain your non-invasive skin lift, it’s crucial to know all of the ins and outs of Venus Legacy. Here’s what you need to know before you book:

Before Your Treatment

It’s important to consider that it takes 6-10 sessions, possibly more, to see results from Venus Legacy treatment. The exact number of sessions needed will be determined by your practitioner.

Additionally, we recommend receiving treatments every one to two weeks. Venus Legacy treatment is super flexible for your lifestyle. Sessions can take from 15 minutes to an hour and many of our clients even make appointments in their lunch breaks!

When you come to your appointment, ensure you have no lotions or makeup applied to the treatment area. Also, remove any jewellery that could get in the way before your session begins.

During Your Treatment

The RF waves are delivered via a handheld wand. The applicator will slowly get warmer until it reaches the desirable temperature for treatment. Importantly, the device will stay within a certain temperature range and not exceed this limit.

You’ll feel a hot sensation that likely will not feel too uncomfortable. If you feel that the wand is getting too hot on your skin, always feel free to let your technician know. The professional administering your treatment will have the ability to adjust the heat to your comfort levels.

It’s time to sit back and relax. Use this session as an opportunity to catch up on rejuvenating rest.

After Your Treatment

Directly after your session finishes, you should feel relaxed. We often find that some clients even fall asleep.

There is virtually no downtime following Venus Legacy treatment. You may experience flushed and/or warm skin but this should subside within a few hours. Feel free to return to your normal daily activities once you are finished with your sessions. You can even apply makeup or lotion to the treatment area afterwards.

Beyond your final RF session, your results will continue to improve in the following 3-4 months. We are only human and we all age. Depending on the area, you may need to receive subsequent treatments every 3-4 months. Your technician can advise you on the best approach for your skin goals and needs.

What Makes for a Good Candidate?

Different to other anti-aging treatments, like laser, Venus Legacy is completely safe to use on all skin tones.

The ideal candidates for radiofrequency therapy are those who have tried diet and exercise to get rid of excess fat cells with minimal success. We consistently have clients visiting our boutique beauty clinic with this same concern. If you start to notice signs of skin ageing such as wrinkles or sagging, this is also an ideal time to start radiofrequency therapy.

There are a handful of limitations to receiving RF treatment and these include:

  • Current or recent inflammation or infection in the treatment area

  • Any skin-related autoimmune disorders

  • A diagnosis of cancer in your lifetime

  • Having a defibrillator or pacemaker installed

  • Metal implants, excluding any dental ones in the treatment area

  • Varicose veins present

  • You have silicone implants or cosmetic injectables around the area of treatment

  • You’re pregnant or currently receiving IVF treatment

  • An uncontrolled thyroid gland disorder

  • A neurologic disease characterised by degeneration or any other ailment in the treatment area triggered by heat exposure, such as herpes
